また、退職後の時間を自然の中で過ごしたい方や、地元の人とあたたかく交流したい方のために、ホームステイのプログラムもご用意しています。お仕事中心だった時期にはなかなかできなかったような、心に残る体験をしていただけたら嬉しいです。

My name is Judy Chonan and I am your Japanese contact person. Originally from the Philippines, I have lived in Japan for over 40 years with my Japanese husband and our family.
I run an English school, where I teach both general and conversational English to many students every day.
I am deeply grateful for my life in Japan, and I use my experiences to provide volunteer services that act as a cultural bridge between Japan and the Philippines, as well as between Japan and other countries.

フィリピン出身で、40年以上前に日本人の夫と結婚し、家族とともに日本に住んでいます。
現在は英語教室を運営しており、毎日たくさんの生徒さんに一般英語や会話英語を教えています。
日本での暮らしには深く感謝しており、これまでの経験を生かして、
日本とフィリピン、そして日本と他の国々との間をつなぐ「文化のかけはし」となるような
ボランティア活動も行っています。

VIPS: A Volunteer Guide Group for English-Speaking Foreign Tourists
VIPS 英語圏の外国人観光客を対象としたボランティアガイドグループ
VIPS is a volunteer guide group dedicated to assisting English-speaking foreign tourists. We operate under the name VIPS (Volunteer Interpreting English-speaking foreign tourists.
VIPS was established to introduce international visitors to the beautiful nature and rich culture of Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture. Our group was founded out of a desire to share the unique heritage and scenic landscapes of this region with guests from around the world.
Each year, we guide numerous international visitors, with a special focus on foreign tourists arriving by cruise ships at Sakata Port. Our tours highlight local attractions, history, and traditions, helping guests experience the best of Sakata.

VIPSは、海外から訪れる方々に山形県の素晴らしい自然や文化を知ってもらいたいという思いから、英語圏の外国人観光客を対象としたボランティアガイドグループとして結成しました。
毎年、酒田港に寄港するクルーズ船で訪れる外国観光客を中心に、数多くの海外のお客様をガイドしています。

World Nook Shonai ワールドヌック庄内 国際交流 特定非営利活動法人
Although it was a past volunteer initiative, I founded and led a certified non-profit organization called World Nook Shonai in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, and was involved in its operation for many years.
We believe that all of us on this planet are part of one big family.
Based on the idea of “supporting people to live as global citizens and promoting international exchange and cooperation through personal networks,” we created various opportunities for intercultural connection in Sakata City.
Events such as Christmas Around the World and international tea gatherings became special spaces for both foreign residents and local citizens to come together, interact, and build friendships.
過去のボランティア活動になりますが、山形県酒田市で、特定非営利活動法人「ワールド・ヌック庄内」を立ち上げ、長年にわたり運営していました。
私たちは地球に住む大きなひとつの家族。
「誰もが地球市民として生活できるための支援、人的ネットワークを生かした国際交流・協力」という考えのもと、山形県酒田市における、さまざまな国際交流の場を作ってきました。
世界のクリスマスやお茶会など、多くの外国人や地元の市民の「集いの場」「交流の場」となりました。
