Hello, I’m Judy Chonan, the Japan-based contact for JMT Villa.
Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Japan over 40 years ago when I married my Japanese husband, and I’ve been living here ever since with my family.

In Japan, I run an English school where I teach English and conversation skills to many students every day.

With deep gratitude for all that Japan has given me, I now offer volunteer services that bridge Japan and the Philippines — and connect Japan with the wider world — by drawing on my experience and passion for cross-cultural exchange.

こんにちは。日本窓口である長南ジュディです。フィリピン出身、結婚を機に日本人の夫と家族とともに日本に40年以上住んでいます。日本では英語教室を営み、毎日沢山の生徒さんに英語と英会話を教えています。

これまでの日本への感謝とともに私の経験を活かして、日本とフィリピンの橋渡し、日本と海外の橋渡しとなるボランティアサービスをご提供しています。

International Exchange Program　国際交流プログラム

In the Philippines, English is an official language and is widely used in daily life, making it an ideal destination for language learners. Recently, there has been a steady increase in the number of Japanese visitors coming to the Philippines for short-term English study.

At JMT Villa, we support English learners by offering immersive stay experiences. Our services include:

• Personalized consultations for those seeking local language schools.
• Introductions to trusted private English tutors, including relatives and friends connected to JMT Villa.
• Opportunities to interact with local residents, providing real-life conversational practice.

Both our Japan-based contact and the villa owner were born and raised in the Philippines, ensuring we can create a comfortable and supportive environment for Japanese learners of English. We are committed to helping you make the most of your language learning journey in the Philippines.

近年では、短期の英語学習を目的にフィリピンを訪れる日本人の方も着実に増えています。
